About
Born in Brooklyn, New York in the 90s, Corinthian is a Puerto Rican-American writer based in Los Angeles.
His parents split at an early age, and in his early teens, his father passed away, thus relying heavily on his mother and his three older sisters for guidance. This also started a trend of constant moving until graduating high school in Oakland Park, Florida. Soon after, he joined the Air Force, and, surprisingly, the trend of relocating only intensified. He credits his first deployment for discovering his passion. Each day, in the 116-degree heat with not much to pass the time, he began writing for the very first time.
Since that first deployment, he has lived all over the world before ultimately transitioning from active duty to the National Guard in 2018 to pursue his passion as a writer. His passion led him to make the significant leap from one of the most secure jobs in the country to one of the least secure. He earned his Bachelor's degree from Indiana University in 2020 and then in 2022 from DePaul University with an MFA in Screenwriting. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has worked with renowned production companies, contributed to several short films, and completed both the WGF’s Veterans Writing Project and, more recently, its prestigious Veterans Writing Fellowship under the mentorship of Stefani Robinson.
Corinthian still serves in the Air National Guard, but his primary focus is to further his career as a writer in Hollywood. He is passionate about telling heartfelt stories and creating unique worlds that incorporate themes of social justice, and the importance of family, along with his Puerto Rican heritage.
He is open for work!
